Complete rules
Everything you need to know.
Before you play
Know the basics.
- This is a drinking game. Know your limits and drink responsibly.
- The game begins with nine face-up cards arranged in a 3×3 grid.
- Aces are low.
- Drawing a joker means you drink.
Your turn
Choose. Predict. Stack.
- 1
Choose a card
Select one of the face-up cards currently on the table.
- 2
Guess higher or lower
Predict whether the next card from the deck will be higher or lower than the selected card.
- 3
Reveal and stack
Draw the next card and place it face-up on the chosen stack.
- 4
Get three correct
Three correct predictions end your turn. They do not need to be consecutive.
Wrong guess
Drink while your friends make it worse.
The number of cards in the chosen stack determines how long you drink.
The table controls the timer.
While you drink, every other player can repeatedly tap their screen to slow the countdown and increase your actual drinking time.
Deathbox compares assigned time with actual time so everyone can see who was sabotaged the most.
The endgame
Every reshuffle makes it harder.
The deck runs out.
One row of stacks is consolidated.
Those cards are shuffled into the new deck.
Repeat until only one stack remains.
